Krupa is a Managing Director responsible for Marketing and Investor Relations, and serves as a member of Milestone's Investment Committee. Mr. Krupa, who has 24 years of real estate experience, served from 2001 to 2009 as an Executive Director in two divisions within UBS, including the UBS Investment Bank Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Group, as part of the group's Real Estate Private Equity Fundraising team, and at UBS Global Asset Management Real Estate, one of the largest global real estate fund managers. Mr. Krupa also served on the Board of Directors of Mitsubishi Corp.-UBS Realty Inc., the externally advised asset manager to Japan Retail Fund as well as to Industrial and Infrastructure Fund. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Krupa served as Managing Director at McDonald Investments. He also served in various real estate investment banking capacities at Salomon Smith Barney and one of its predecessors, Salomon Brothers, Inc., as well as at Kidder, Peabody and Company where he was collectively involved in transactions exceeding $6 billion. At Salomon Brothers, he led the firm's multifamily sector coverage efforts and was responsible for debt and equity offerings and property sale transactions for leading multifamily sector companies. Mr. Krupa is a member of the Urban Land Institute and an associate member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He is a past board member of the National Multi Housing Council and has served as guest lecturer at New York University's Real Estate Institute. Mr. Krupa received his BS from Northeastern University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
